Jacob comes from a long line of athletes from baseball, soccer, volleyball and football. Jacob is inspired by the upstanding men and women of his families that came before him whether he's on the field, in church, school or home.
At the age of 15 Jacob underwent knee surgery for the love of the game. The surgery was 5 hours long and the recovery lasted almost 2 years. He cried at every visit thinking how he was letting his teammates down by being out of commission. He fought hard throughout the recovery process and is back better than ever.
