What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

One thing that Jacob always talk about is his teammates and friends he has made along the way. He loves meeting new people and is always willing to have a conversation. He enjoys the smell of arenas, the excitement of the games, the fans and their limitless cheers. The journey every tournament takes him on the time he gets to spend with friends and family.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

He often brings up Carey Price, he never got to watch him much, but did hear his story. Jacob is a First Nations person's same as Mr. Price and he understands the difficulty of being different. It is people like Carey Price, P.K Subban, Johnathan Cheechoo and Ted Nolan. He has learned that if he believes in himself Noone can tell him otherwise, he is proud of who he is as person and as an athlete. Reading their books gave Jacob the confidence he needs to save pucks and make friends in the proces

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Jacob at practices has made me the proudest. He is so supportive of others and very encouraging of his peers. He will not leave anyone out in the dressing room, on the ice, and in the arena. He has gained popularity because of his goaltending and uses it to help others find their game. He is patient will everyone on the ice weither or not they been playing for 5 years or 5 min, he will always encourage you to never give up. He tell stories about it's not where you start but where you finish.
