What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What my son loves most about football is the brotherhood and the bond he shares with his teammates. He thrives on the competition, the energy of the game, and the thrill of making a big play. But beyond all that, it’s the grind he loves most—the daily commitment, the challenge of pushing himself, and the satisfaction of knowing he earned every yard through hard work, discipline, and heart. Football fuels his passion and drives his purpose.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My son isn’t inspired by just one person—he draws strength from many... His dad, who showed him what it means to work hard and never give up. He also draws strength from his younger brother, who looks up to him and gives him a reason to lead by example. On the field, he’s motivated by teammates who give their all and coaches who push him to grow. Off the field, it’s his family that fuels his drive—to make them proud and to be the kind of role model his little brother can look up to.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment that made me proudest was watching him make over 30 tackles in a single game. He studied the opponents closely, anticipating their moves so he was always one step ahead. His focus and instincts were incredible—he was everywhere on the field, so much so the quarterback couldn’t even get the ball off the ground. Seeing his dedication and game intelligence shine like that made me realize how far he’s come as both a player and a leader.
