You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
Jacob loves being with his friends. He has met new friends of all ages and different backgrounds. It has fostered a community of support for him and for each other. Jacob enjoys going to other events and supporting these friends in all aspects of life. This has allowed Jacob to develop other interests and encourage others to do the same. Together, they inspire each other to grow and thrive.
His dad inspires him. He encourages Jacob to work harder and sharpen his sword any chance he gets. Jacob takes this to heart and has dived headfirst into being a better all-around athlete. If he is cheering his team from the bench or leading by example, Jacob is growing and putting forth effort every day to be a better athlete and teammate. His dad works with him often and reminds him of what he can accomplish when he puts his mind to it.
Jacob has faced adversity head on, and his resilience is truly inspiring. When he feels he's down and out, he has begun to channel his passion and energy to get better. When Jacob makes up his mind to do something, he is unstoppable. For example, he is passionately working to get back to play in the infield for baseball, playing goalie in soccer and even working on his bank shot in basketball. His passion for the games are evident in the competitor he is.
