The opportunity to make new friends. The competition he gets from playing kids from bigger cities with more experience. Loves watching have just a much as he lives playing them so he can try and learn different skills.
My mom. Because she always encourages me to not give up and keep going. Even if I feel like quitting or I doubt myself. She's there at every practice and every game no matter what. So it inspires me to keep going.
Their basketball team was going against a larger team who were on a winning streak. He got it in his head before the game that they were going to loose. The other team made some nasty comments towards my son and his teammates before the game. He used that energy in the game. Made all 8 of his free throws in game and scored over half of his teams points. They won in over time. Afterwards he still went to every opponent and humbly said good game and joked about next year's games.
