What I love most about playing football is the discipline and teamwork it teaches. Every player has a role, and success only comes when everyone works together. The game pushes you to be mentally tough, physically strong, and to never give up — even when you're tired or behind on the scoreboard. I also love the adrenaline of competition and the bond you build with teammates through wins, losses, and hard practices. It's more than just a sport — it's a lifestyle that builds character.
The person who inspires me most on and off the field is Jalen Hurts. On the field, they lead with intensity, passion, and purpose. They show what it means to stay focused, give 100%, and bounce back from failure. Off the field, they carry themselves with humility, discipline, and a commitment to helping others — whether that’s giving back to the community or being a role model to the younger generation.
A moment in my athletic journey that I'm most proud of was when I earned a starting position after working hard in the offseason. That moment wasn’t just about winning or recognition — it was about proving to myself that hard work, discipline, and heart really do pay off. It reminded me why I love the game and showed me that I can overcome challenges both on and off the field.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
