My child is the Youth Athlete of the Year because he has respect for each of his coaches, teammates, referees, and any sport he plays.

His parents inspire him the most because they are always pushing him to be better and want more for himself in life than what they had. They always go the extra mile to make sure he has the extra training necessary. Off the field they show him what true love is by providing time with him to help him be a great, respectful person.
The moment in his career that made me proudest was last year when he got hurt playing football. He was devastated that he couldn't finish the season out due to a concussion and a rare birth anomaly that was found during a scan. Regardless of him being hurt, he still attended every game, made sure every one of the players were alright, and showed true leadership and sportsmanship despite not being able to play!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
