Receive Text UpdatesHe loves soccer because it brings out the best in him and his teammates. Each pass, press, and run lets him lift others and feel part of something bigger. U14 MLS NEXT competition sharpens his skills and decisions, but camaraderie and respect matter most. Committed to playing the right way—gracious in victory or defeat—he channels the same discipline that keeps him on the AB honor roll into training, film study, and balancing schoolwork.
Jamie Vardy inspires him because Vardy’s rise from non-league unknown to Premier League champion proves grit beats pedigree. Rejected by academies, Vardy trained after factory shifts, seized his chance at Leicester, and shattered scoring records with relentless pace and fearless pressing. He admires Vardy’s work ethic, never-say-die attitude, and humility off the pitch, showing that perseverance and self-belief can defy the odds.
My proudest moment was watching him qualify for the 2024 ODP Regional Tournament in Florida as a South Texas representative. He played with total intensity yet showed flawless sportsmanship—encouraging teammates, respecting officials, even helping opponents up. After the match a coach found me, asked if I was his mother, and said, “You should be proud—he’s the complete athlete and person.” I couldn’t agree more.
