Jalen is inspired by his mom, who pushes him to be his best in everything he does. On the court, he looks up to players who lead with heart and hard work like his favorite player Steph Curry.
One moment I'm most proud of is how I stayed focused even when I was overlooked time and time again. I didn’t let it break me, instead, I focused on what I could control: my attitude, my work ethic, and my growth. Even with setbacks and curveballs, I’ve stayed on track and reached every goal I’ve set so far. I’m proud of the way I’ve stayed locked in and kept pushing forward.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
