James loves all sports. He is competitive even when it’s for fun. James loves to be apart of a team. Over the last two years it has been great to see him step up into leadership roles on and off the court/field. He enjoys studying, creating, and suggesting to call a play. Creating opportunities for his teammates to score or make a play is also a strength that makes him standout. Overall, he loves to win and play with heart and grit but like he says we all have to come together.
Coaches, teammates, and my family. I have my coaches who believe in me when I’m not playing at my full potential. My teammates, without them I wouldn’t be in the position to be apart of a great team. My family, without your support I wouldn’t be the athlete I am today.
During the 2024 tackle football season James and his team went undefeated and made it to the Super Bowl against another undefeated team. It was fourth quarter and we were down 8-28. James, the QB made several plays that kept them in the game. The score is now 24-28. James’ team had the ball at the opponents 40. The play didn’t work and they end up losing the game. Overall, James didn’t give up regardless of the score and was able to lead the team to their first Super Bowl.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
