What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

My daughter loves sports because it brings out the best in her. It gives her confidence, teaches her discipline, and pushes her to keep growing. She loves the energy, the challenge, and the feeling of being part of something bigger than herself. Whether she’s winning or learning, she gives it her all and that passion is what sets her apart.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My Dad, Why? Because he’s always there, whether it’s coaching me through a tough game or life itself. He pushes me to be better, not just as an athlete but as a person. He believes in me when I start to doubt myself and shows me what real dedication looks like. Watching him work, lead, and love with everything he has makes me want to give my all too. He’s my motivation, my role model, and the reason I play with heart every time I step on the court.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

My proudest moment so far was making varsity basketball as a 9th grader. It was a dream come true, and I knew I earned it. But what made it even better was seeing how proud my dad was. That moment wasn’t just mine it was ours.
