My son is the youth athlete of the year because despite losing his father to Cancer he still gets up everyday and play his heart out!!!!!

His father is his inspiration. His father lost his battle to cancer. Jaquan has since been more dedicated and devoted to the game of football. He often states he has to play for him and his dad who loved the game as well. This sport was something they shared together.
The first touchdown he made after his dad passed away and he turned and smiled and I said I did mama. This moment showed me he was determined to play the game he loves so much and how happy it made him.
