Jaslene is 16 years old and played up with the 18s this year. Her passion and VB IQ are incredible. She thrives and leads in all challenges.

Some things she loves about volleyball is always playing against different styles of competition throughout the country.
Her inspiration are Madison skinner and Logan Eggleston former Texas volleyball players who led their team to a NCAA title back to back. They inspired her because they are always so mentally strong and always ready for any competition that comes their way. No matter how big the block or tough the defense, they are always so confident in scoring.
Before a tournament, she woke up feeling a little ill. She pushed thru it as much as she could. She had to go home after the first game. We brought her home to rest. The very next day she woke up, got ready, and said “My Team needs me”. Despite still not 100% well, she pushed thru to help her team thru the quarterfinals. Her commitment to her team is admirable and beyond her years.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
