What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

I love being the quarterback. It is intense and challenging. I carry a lot of the responsibilities for the team. I love when I throw the football right in their hands, on the dot! I also love playing with my cousins and bonding with them as teammates. Playing sports keeps me to maintain a 3.8 gpa and knowing that education is an important role.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My 15 year old brother inspires me because he had open heart surgery at 14 which now limits what sports he can play as he builds his endurance back up. He is my biggest competitor so we workout together and push each other every step of the way.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

I am a proud mom with many proud moments but to narrow it down to one is when the football game is tied and the ball is in her hand. She threw the football more than running with it so throwing it deep down the line 15+ yards to Makoa who caught it and made a touchdown.
