Javian loves being part of a team. He enjoys building a brotherhood with his teammates and working hard with them during practice and games. He loves having the opportunity to travel with his teams and experience new places while representing his family and community and making us all proud. Building relationships with teammates, coaches and the crowd while doing something they all share a passion about.
Kobe Bryant has been an inspiration for him. His mom was a huge fan and showed him many clips, games and interviews. Javian admires Kobe Bryant's work ethic, confidence and dedication not only to the game but to himself. Javian has learned that he can be the best at anything he wants, he just has to put in the work.
Javian's dedication and choice of sacrifices to better himself as an athlete has made me the proudest. He recently decided he wanted to push himself to the next level in football by committing to a reputable training program out of state. He dedicated his summer to football practices, conditioning and technical training with the goal of getting into a D1 college. At 13 years old he is already making many sacrifices to reach his dream. He has made his whole family and community so proud.
