Bobby Witt Jr. inspires not only my son but teammates with his exceptional talent, work ethic, and positive attitude, both on and off the field. His natural abilities as a five-tool player, combined with his ability to stay calm under pressure, make him a role model for not only his teammates but young athletes. Witt's genuine personality and approach to the game also resonate with his teammates, fostering a positive and inspiring environment.
Overcoming the fear in playing the game. Jaxson’s younger brother was his motivation and drive. Jameson pushed Jaxson when no one else could. After losing his brother, he lost all that. That moment we felt most proud was the day Jaxson overcame his fear of playing. He decided to take that step forward, to play, and choose #3 because Jameson will forever be 3 and we couldn’t be more proud knowing his brother will always be with him.
