Jaxson’s love for sports goes beyond winning. Football, baseball and lacrosse have taught him discipline, teamwork, and how to overcome adversity. He shows up even when tired and leads by example. He embraces the grind—early mornings, tough practices, and learning from mistakes. He thrives on the competition and fun of the game, and most of all, he values the friendships and bonds built with teammates and coaches and connections that will last a lifetime.
My athletic trainer, TD Ayo-Durojaiye, inspires me on and off the field. As a former Villanova starting RB, he leads by example, always grinding, motivating, and pushing me to be a better athlete. His talks during training sessions always fire me up and remind me to keep going.
One of my proudest moments was when Jaxson’s baseball team was down a player with no catcher. He stepped up, having never played the position, and used his knowledge of the game to fill in. His willingness to help the team and prevent a forfeit showed true leadership and heart. Since then, he has been acknowledged as one of the best catchers for his age group.
