From the moment he picks up a ball, his focus, energy, and dedication shine through. Whether he's practicing drills, watching his favorite players, or playing pick-up games with friends, basketball is his world. He's constantly learning, improving, and challenging himself to be better every day.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Every time Jayden steps onto the basketball court, he carries with him the heart and hustle of two of his biggest inspirations—me and his dad. From the very beginning, we showed him what it means to play with passion, integrity, and grit. Whether it was cheering from the sidelines, putting in extra practice together, or sharing stories of our own journeys, we poured into him the belief that hard work and character matter more than just points on a scoreboard.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of the proudest moments in Jayden’s athletic journey wasn’t a game-winning shot or a flashy play—it was the moment he showed true sportsmanship. In the heat of competition, when tensions were high and emotions ran deep, Jayden chose respect over rivalry. He lifted up a fallen opponent, encouraged a struggling teammate, and played with honor that went far beyond the scoreboard. That moment reminded us all that character is what defines a true athlete. It proved that the values we taught him.
