Join the CompetitionWhat he loves most about playing sports is having fun with his teammates, pushing himself to get better, and always giving his best. Whether it’s hitting a baseball, scoring in basketball, or making a big play in football, he loves the excitement and challenge. Sports have taught him hard work, teamwork, and never giving up. Plus, he just loves the game and the friendships that come with it.
His biggest inspiration is his family—especially his parents, who cheer the loudest (and sometimes a little too loud), and his younger brother and sister, who think he’s a superstar. They all believe in him, push him to be his best, and remind him that sports are about heart, hustle, and having fun. He wants to show his siblings that with hard work and a good attitude, they can do anything—even if it means sharing the last snack after the game!
My son has only played baseball for a little over a year. It all started when he picked up a glove given to us by a family friend—and he hasn’t put it down since. Despite being new to the sport, he was selected for the travel team out of 60 kids, many with years of experience. More recently, he was chosen again—this time as one of just 11 players out of over 80 who tried out for next year’s team. His hard work, heart, and love for the game have taken him far in a short time.
