Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Jayden Cotto is inspired by his dad both on and off the court. His dad taught him the fundamentals of basketball and showed him how to stay calm under pressure. Off the court, his dad leads by example—working hard, staying humble, and always supporting his family. Jayden looks up to him not just as a player, but as a person. His dad’s strength, discipline, and constant encouragement push Jaden to be his best in everything he does.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Jayden Cotto made me the proudest during his athletic season when he played through an injury to support his team in the playoffs. Despite being in pain, he showed heart, grit, and selflessness, putting the team’s needs first. His perseverance and determination stood out more than any win or stat. Watching him fight through adversity with courage and maturity filled me with pride, knowing he was growing into a strong, dedicated young man.
