Jayden loves basketball because it is his dream to make it to the NBA! He feels that when he is playing basketball it is relaxing for him as well as keeping him grounded when he is in his zone.
Jaydens inspiration is Kobe Bryant. He abides by not only Kobe's quotes on the court by he also applies it to his everyday life or when he feels down and out on himself. Jaydens bedroom is purple and yellow to commemorate Kobe. Jayden has wall to wall pictures of Kobe and his quotes.
One of the moments that we were most proud of Jayden was when he made his school basketball team. He was practicing all summer long and kept up the pace until tryouts. Although kids were saying " only good kids make it so no point in trying" or " Yeh this is too hard" Jayden kept pushing. Jayden attended tryouts all week until almost 7pm and gave his all. Decision day Jayden ran up to me in tears saying "Mom I madeeeeee it*!!!! He was so happy and relieved that all his hard work paid off!!!
