What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Sports gives Jaylen a positive outlet to express himself.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Jaylen told me that watching me complete law school while being a mom and wife inspires him to go hard. Hearing that from my son pushed me. So let's say, we inspire each other.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

What makes me the proudest, is how hard he work on and off the field. In Drone Soccer the kids have to build a Drone, program it, fly it, and then score or defend. Essentially, he has to use his brain to compete. Jaylen is an A student, while participating in two sports while serving as Team Captain, all while doing multiple internships. His siblings look up to him and his drive. He inspire all of us.
