Jaylen loves the teamwork in baseball—working together to win and supporting each other on and off the field. He enjoys the thrill of making big plays, the strategy behind every pitch and swing, and the excitement of competition. He loves learning from coaches, growing with his teammates, and challenging himself to improve every game. For Jaylen, baseball is more than just a sport, it’s about discipline, fun, friendships, and being part of something bigger than himself.
Jaylen is inspired by his dad, who coaches and teaches him both on and off the field with love and discipline. He also looks up to his younger siblings, who share his passion for baseball and motivate him to be a great role model. Their shared love for the game keeps him focused, driven, and proud to lead by example.
One of the proudest moments in Jaylen’s athletic journey was his first over-the-fence home run. He had been working so hard to build his strength, putting in extra time and effort with determination and heart. When he finally hit it out, all that hard work paid off—I was overwhelmed with pride and couldn’t help but cry. It was a moment of pure joy, showing just how far his dedication and love for the game have taken him.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
