He's loves being part of a team. It gives him part of his identity. His teammates love him and he motivates them to try harder. His self esteem comes from his ability to compete and win. He loves when family members show up to watch him play i was going through chemo and he promised if i could make it to his basketball game he would score 16 points for me. He did it! He worked so hard on the court that day but he was determined not to let me down. Im so proud of him.
His coaches and his dad. He is respectful even though he has earned bragging rights he doesn't. He listens to them and tries to implement their suggestions into his game. His dad has been his greatest supporter and makes sure he's there at a every game.
There are many but, when he scored the buzzer beater to win the last game of the season! I could see that that was defining moment for him; at that moment he knew he was talented and destined for great things.
