My child loves the excitement and teamwork that come with playing sports. They thrive on the challenge, the chance to improve, and the friendships they build along the way. Scoring a goal or making a great play gives them a huge sense of accomplishment, and they always look forward to being part of the team.
My child is inspired by his mom, nana and teammates both on and off the field. His mom and teammates show him the meaning of hard work, kindness, and never giving up, always cheering him on no matter what. His nana inspires him with her strength, love, and support, reminding him to stay humble and grateful. Their encouragement and belief in him give him the confidence to do his best in everything he does.
One moment that makes me the proudest was when he got knocked down during a tough game but got right back up, kept playing hard, and encouraged his teammates and scored. Instead of celebrating he helped an opponent up off the ground and made sure he was okay. It showed his resilience, heart, and leadership—not just as an athlete, but as a person. Watching him grow through that moment made me incredibly proud.
