I love the grind for greatness chasing records on the track and touchdowns on the field. The roar of game day, the electric adrenaline, the pulse, the fight for #1 fuel my soul. Football taught me grit. Track taught me speed. Together, they shaped the athlete I am. My work ethic, discipline, and love for my teammates that last beyond the scoreboard.My city, my country drives me every step. Win or lose, I bring the heat. I don’t just play I evolve. And believe me... this is only the beginning.
My mom endured every abuse imaginable- and still never missed a single game or practice. Her strength fuels my grind. She sacrifices everything, often going without food, so her kids can eat. She cheers the loudest and trains beside us, even through her pain. My coaches and community leaders, police, and teachers push me like fathers I never had. My Special k’s-kate. Taught me Discipline and gave me structure. That’s why people call me the state trooper. I’m writing tickets on and off the field.
My proudest moment was when my son’s middle school principal and teacher/coach gave a 30-minute speech about jeanajay of hundreds of kids. I cried, smiled, and felt pure joy.they joked how I wouldn’t hang up the phone until he got a shot- something they’d never allowed before. And now, they say they witnessed the rise of the greatest student athlete scholar ever that came through their middle school. He had goal to break the school record and he did just that. Hearing praise him was priceless.
