Receive Text UpdatesWhat I love most about softball is how it makes me feel at home. I’ve always been quiet and kept my circle small, but every team I join becomes more than teammates—they become family. We lift each other up, cheer each other on, and never give up. On the field, I feel seen, valued, and like I truly belong. Softball reminds me that I matter in a world that so often makes people feel invisible.
The person who inspires me on and off the field is my mom. From the moment she saw my interest in softball, she signed me up—even before I fully understood the game. No matter how tired she is, she shows up to every game she can. As my positions changed, she made sure I had lessons and always recorded my games to help me chase my dream of playing in college. She’s been my biggest supporter every step of the way.
My proudest athletic moment is my recovery from a torn labrum in my right shoulder, suffered in the first game of my junior year in February 2024. After surgery in April 2025, I feared I’d never play the same again. But I was cleared just in time for my senior season opener. That year, I hit a personal best batting average of .514 and broke two school records at East Bay High: most hits in a game and most runs in a game. I came back stronger than ever.
