My son loves the challenge and excitement of the game. He enjoys pushing himself to get better every day, whether it’s mastering a new skill or competing with his teammates. What he loves most is being part of a team, the friendships he’s built, and the feeling of accomplishing something together. The sport gives him confidence, discipline, and a way to express his passion
My older cousin and my whole family are all football players. We come from a football playing family. We have produced over 14 nfl players out of our family tree. Phillip Buchanon and javon kearse are just a few names. And I myself have played jr college ball as well.
One moment that made me especially proud of my son playing football was when he showed leadership during a tough game. Instead of getting frustrated when the team was behind, he encouraged his teammates, kept his head up, and made a big play that turned the game around. Seeing him show heart, teamwork, and determination in that moment made me proud, not just of his skills, but of the young man he’s becoming.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
