Its a team sport so Jersey can build strong bonds with teamates through energy in the dugout, shared wins and losses, and the mutual support creates a sense of family. She loves the mental strategy and the physical challenge of the game too!
The loss of her dad inspires Jersey to be her best every day. He was her biggest supporter and even though he's no longer physically here she carries his strength, values, and love with her. Every time she trains or competes, she does it with the goal of making him proud. His memory pushes her to reach new levels and never take a moment for granted.
Jersey is now at a point in her journey where she can give back. With the experience, knowledge, and leadership she's gained over the last few years she is able to teach younger athletes. Helping them improve their skills and build confidence.
