What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What she loves most is the friendships, memories, lessons, & pure enjoyment it brings to her. When she plays volleyball she feels like the same 8 year old girl who just touched a volleyball for the first time. Volleyball has taught her so much & will always have a special place in her heart. No sport has ever come close to the love she has for volleyball, it’s her second home. Volleyball is just not a sport but a daily essential! She’s on cloud 9 when playing. This is why she loves the game!

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Steph Curry has been one of her biggest inspirations for as long as we can remember. She admires him not just for his skill but his work ethic. She believes that greatness is a result of not just skill but hard work too. God is an important part of our life. Family is something we always focus on. She has always strived to make not just mom & dad proud but her extended family and friends too. She is driven to be better than everyone & always wants to push athletic & academically. She has a 4.0

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

We’ve been fortunate so far early in her athletic journey to have so many proud moments. Her natural ability to lead by example & encourage her teammates regardless of the circumstances always makes us proud. If we have to chose 1 moment it would be the determination, discipline & grit she showed to come back from an injury. She worked on technique w/out compromising her recovery. She didn’t complain, but instead stayed sharp mentally, engaged & attended practice to encourage her teammates.
