When JJ was a freshman he tore his UCL in a basketball game. He endured 3 months of physical therapy, surgery, then five more months of intensive physical therapy to beat the odds and come back to basketball again 3 months earlier than we had expected. During the time he could not play when he was injured , he was still on the bench encouraging his teammates and uplifting the team.
