What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

I was first drawn to being a race car driver when I was 2 years old. The look and sounds of racing appealed to me. Football has been a part of my world from infancy. I started racing and playing football at age 5. I love how I was given the opportunity to live out my dreams and inner passions at a young age. In both sports you set goals and build determination to achieve them. Whether in racing or in football, when I put on that helmet I don't think about anything other than the task of winning.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Coaches – Rolf Mosley, for planting the mental awareness of football in me. Dominic Cardinalli, Ron Guyton, and Erick Dargan for developing my playing skills. My new coaches at Antioch High School Brett Dudley, Juan, and Henry for reenergizing my game and allowing my talent to breath and be seen again. Ken and Dennis Rice for making a Team Rice driver & giving me racing skills. Russel Wilson, for his character and community involvement. Martin Truex, Jr. because he’s a great race car driver.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

At 6 years old, both football and racing crushed him to his core. Our racing club cheated him out of his first earned race win and the football coach refused to play him his one snap in a game. He didn't understand why these adults didn't want him to succeed. Devastated, he rebuilt himself by watching himself on film. Now every time I see him stand up for himself and show everyone, he knows who he is and deserves to achieve the goals he's set for himself, that's when I'm the proudest of him.
