Receive Text UpdatesFor my son, it’s more than just a game. It’s his passion, his peace, and his purpose. He doesn’t play basketball for attention or recognition. He plays because it’s where he feels most alive. He trains daily. Not because he has to, but because he wants to. Because greatness doesn’t come from talent alone, but from the work no one sees. As a 9th grader playing varsity alongside 11th and 12th graders, he never flinched. He stepped up. He never complains. He never quits. He just keeps showing up.
My biggest inspiration is my family. My dad pushes me to be better every day. My mom sacrifices so much so I can chase my dream. They never miss a game. My papa keeps me grounded and reminds me to stay humble. I go so hard because they believe in me and I want to make them proud.
Being chosen to play varsity as a freshman was a huge moment. I was playing with juniors and seniors, and I didn’t just show up I showed out. All the late nights, early mornings, nonstop training, it paid off. That moment proved I’m built for this.
