What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What I love most about playing sports is the hard work and dedication required in order to excel at your sport. Choosing to get better each and every day in order to be the greatest you can be is what I enjoy the most. Even when I fail at times, I'm always looking forward to the greater comeback. For me, the destination never mattered, it's the journey. Because nothing compares to when all of those late night practices and early morning workouts behind the scenes turn into victories on the field

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

On and off the field I am greatly inspired by my dad. I am so greatly inspired by my dad because of how much he pours into putting me in the best spot possible to be successful. He always shows up, always supports me, and has always believed in me. Along with that, he shows me what hard work looks like day in and day out. Having a great model like him pushes me to be the best person I can be every day. In memory of my beloved grandmother, everything I do is for her. She gives me a bigger purpose

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One moment in my athletic journey that makes me the proudest is earning the "Dirtbag Award" my freshman year for my Varsity baseball team. That award meant so much to me because it wasn't just an award, it was a testament to all of the hard work I put in while nobody was watching, the times I failed and thought I wouldn't be able to come back, and the patience and wisdom God blessed me with in order to trust in him and his plan he had set out for me all along.
