Jolaina loves the thrill of competition, being part of a team, and pushing herself to improve every game. Whether she’s hitting a baseball or driving to the hoop, she feels confident, strong, and unstoppable. Sports let her express her passion, make lifelong friends, and prove that hard work beats expectations every time.
Jolaina is inspired by her mom and dad, who always believe in her and push her to follow her dreams, no matter the obstacles. She also looks up to her coaches who teach her discipline, teamwork, and resilience. Their support reminds her that with heart and hustle, she can break barriers and lead by example—on and off the field.
The proudest moments in Jolaina’s athletic journey was when she made the Top Tier boy’s travel baseball team (2023-Present) and the all-girls Perfect Catch (Chicago) travel baseball team heading to Baseball for All Nationals 2025. She’s 13 and has played with boys since age 4, often told she couldn’t do it—but she proved them wrong. Seeing her confidence shine, knowing how hard she worked to earn that spot, and watching her inspire other girls to chase big dreams made it unforgettable.
