My friend Easton P is my inspiration because he’s my friend, he is a fast hockey player and a really good player. I am also inspired by Mitch Marner and Auston Matthews because they are good NHL players and I hope to play in the NHL just like them. They are my favourite NHL players and I got to meet them in person and they gave me signed hockey pucks and cards. Answer by Jonah Abitong (8)
One moment in my child’s athletic journey that makes me the proudest was when they showed true leadership and sportsmanship during a tough game. Instead of getting frustrated when their team was losing, they encouraged their teammates, stayed positive, and gave their best effort until the end. It wasn’t just about skill, it was about heart, character, and lifting others up. That moment reminded me that winning isn’t everything, but how you carry yourself as an athlete truly matters.
