Receive Text UpdatesVolleyball is not only a game of skill but a mental challenge as well. I hear him say “next ball” to his teammates if a mistake is made all the time. He doesn’t dwell on the negative and encourages his teammates to do the same. Jordan loves to celebrate, encourage and support his teammates; putting them before his own successes. He loves the power of hitting, the placement of a spike, the accuracy of the set and the speed of the serve.
His family…for every high and low we’ve experienced together, it pushes him to be better. Jordan wants to grow, wants to improve, and knows he has full support of his parents and siblings. Jordan understands hard work, dedication and commitment in every aspect of life; in the classroom, in the community and on the court.
I am most proud watching Jordan when he makes a bad play, but shakes it off and refocuses. He’s able to regain control, reset, and make adjustments to make the next play. I enjoy watching him give his teammates praise, and picking them up when they are struggling. Jordan is a motivator, an encourager and all around great teammate!
