What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

She loves the Friday night lights. She has an incredible stage presence and loves to cheer and encourage her teammates. She likes the challenges cheer brings and the excitement of watching the crowd get involved. When performance she says "It's like experiencing an out of body experience, there is so much energy and hype that you can't explain."

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

It's her coaches that inspire her the most. They aren't afraid to tell her what she is doing wrong and how to fix it, then she listens to what they are saying and not how they are saying it. She takes the correction to heart and fixes it. Her coaches have a good balance of correction and encouragement, which inspires her to want to be better. Gabby Bultler has also been a huge inspiration to her. As a flyer Jordyn studies her videos over and over again even in slow motion to learn from the best.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Jordyn struggled for a year on a stunt. She never quiet. She kept listening, watching, learning. taking correction, practicing at home, in the gym and any where she had the space and right equipment to work on it. On day as one of her coaches were helping her she did it! The smile and laughter on her face was priceless. All the hardwork, broken bones, hours of practice and a little blood shed, had paid off in that moment. Watching her achieve what she had worked hard to accomplish made me proud.
