The thing he loves most about his sport is the off season. He fell in love with the process and he knows that all the work he does during the offseason will show and pay off when it’s time to suit up and play in the fall. He knows that the only way to beat his opponents is to outwork them. He loves winning games too but he takes pride in the work that he does when nobody is looking.
The person who inspires him the most is his older brother. He is the reason on why he loves the sport because he grew up watching his older brother play football. Without him he would’ve never grew love for the sport. His older brother also played in college and has always guided him and became his coach and his mentor. He is always there for him even when it’s not football related and that is why he inspires him. Not just to be the best student athlete but also to be the person all around.
One moment of his athletic journey that has made me the proudest was at the very beginning of his freshman year of high school. Right before the very first game he earned the title as a starter for the Varsity football team and he started every single game that season. He didn’t just start he had an amazing year. Instead of being scared he accepted the role and played his heart out.
