What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

The team work, The ability to encourage and help the other team mates to do the best they can and staying in the best physical condition as possible.


Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My Grandparents have always encouraged me to do the best I can do. You never lose if you try your best and also mybtaekwondo instructor Mr Christian who encourages me to always try to do better than I did the day before.


What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

He was sparring in front of a big crowd in a taekwondo competition, he broke his toe but he kept fighting. (Taekwondo is mostly kicking) After the match I asked him why he kept going, he said because he wanted his sparring partner to beat him fair and square so his partner could be proud of winning and not sad that the match was formatted. He finished all three rounds with tears coming down his cheeks and a.broken toe.
