What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

I believe he loves the fact that he is from Oklahoma like some of his favorite people that also play his favorite sport (baseball)! But the thrill he gets to be able to show people he has brains and athleticism! The reward of showing his talents! But mostly being able to show people he can do stuff they said he couldn't! He believes there is no end to trying! Because if you don't try you can't say that you failed at it or that you succeeded at it!

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

He says, his parents because he's watched me go through my sickle cell struggle since he was born, but never give up, make it to 98% of his games and his events and still be a teacher. And make my way through life even battling. But then also his dad because he goes to work everyday and still makes his events still push hard every day. To make it a better day than yesterday! Coach Romine because he believes in him, and pushes him to be better! His Baseball coaches Ben/Dayron/Jason and George!

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

During one of his baseball games, he was pitching and hit a kid, and he walked to first base and he went to check on him. But then, during another game he was pitching, a line drive came at his ribs hit him he caught the ball , hit the ground stood up caught his breath and got the out because hi neve let go of the ball! He also showed so much strength and never gave up, and he believes that the next moment is going to be better than the last moment.
