What Josiah loves most about playing baseball is the feeling of being on the field with his teammates, competing and having fun while doing something he’s truly passionate about. He thrives off the energy of the game the excitement of stepping up to the plate, the focus it takes to make a big play, and the thrill of a hard-earned win. He also loves the challenge. Baseball teaches him how to bounce back from failure, stay focused under pressure, and push himself to get better every single day.
Josiah is most inspired by his parents—both on and off the field. We’ve always taught him the value of hard work, discipline, and staying humble, and he carries those lessons with him every time he steps onto the baseball field. He sees how much time, effort, and sacrifice we put into supporting his dreams, whether it’s driving to tournaments, cheering from the stands, or helping him practice after a long day. That motivates him to push harder, not just to make us proud. But for himself as well
One of the proudest moments in Josiah’s athletic journey was when he was invited to play in the Perfect Game Series in Florida. It was a big stage with top-level competition from all over the country—and Josiah showed up ready to compete. Not only did he hold his own, he balled out. He played with confidence, hustle, and heart, proving that all his hard work was paying off. Watching him shine under pressure, stay focused, and step up in such a competitive environment was unforgettable.
