She loves playing all kinds of sports, but football is her favorite. She's drawn to the speed, strategy, and competition. She's not afraid to play coed and thrives in it. She joins every season she can and even trains at football camps between seasons. In her last season, she averaged 3 touchdowns a game and made big plays on both sides of the ball. She loves the challenge, the energy, and proving that girls can dominate the field too
She's inspired by her siblings. With two sisters and two brothers, our home is full of sports and competitive energy. We go to games and practices together, and there's an unspoken challenge of who can shine the brightest in their sport. That drive pushes her to work harder, play smarter, and constantly improve. Her siblings motivate her every day - not just to win, but to be the best version of herself on and off the field.
Her first season of football, I was nervous-no experience, all boys, but I knew she was fast The first time she touched the ball, she scored a touchdown. l'lI never forget the other parents' reactions and hearing opposing teams shout "watch the girl!" every game after. Defenses started adjusting just for her. Watching her go from a question mark to the player everyone feared made me incredibly proud and she's still that same unstoppable force.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
