Jude loves to compete, loves to be a teammate, and provides energy and encouragement to those around him. He shows great respect for the game, officials and opponents. Sports are challenging and Jude loves to be challenged physically and mentally. Sports has brought amazing friendships, friendships that extend off the field.
Jude finds inspiration in all kinds of places, from the pro’s all the way down to being able to teach his little brother the games he loves. Jude has always loved the stories of those who were overlooked, but worked really hard and became their best, and reached the highest levels.
One moment that stands out was this last year he tried out for a basketball team that was a level outside of his comfort zone. He knew he would have his work cut out for him to even make it. He made the team, and worked really hard at practice and at home. His minutes in games continually grew and he became the 6th man. It was rewarding to see him get outside of his comfort, and work really hard to earn his spot.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
