What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Julia loves the discipline track and field brings, the mental and physical toughness and the opportunity to have marked improvement with black and white measurements.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Sydney-McGlaughlin is an inspiration for her. Sydney is fierce on the track and strives for greatness with discipline and an unmatched work ethic; yet, at the same time she is kind and God honoring in how she competes and treats people.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Julia's overall athletic journey. She was a gifted gymnastics talent when she was young and competing at high levels when she was 9 and then was diagnosed with a rare condition called PANDAS which causes brain swelling a host of other issues. She then started track in high school and despite physical issues has continued to push herself and her teammates.
