The competition, the need to excel and craving to always do better and then finishing at home plate with a score for her team.
I think she has the natural drive to always do better. Her coaches have both played D1 softball and they inspire her to reach her short term and guiding her while aiming for her long terms goals.
We are so proud of her! One moment when she was having a rough game during hitting… she came home, reflected and was right back out there working to go back to basics to improve, did this daily til she got it in prep for the next tournament the next weekend. She did this all on her own, the drive to work out the kinks, put in the work to show that she was better than that one rough game.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
