Olympic champion Julien Alfred. They are both St Lucians. She overcame a lot; but ambition and talent prevailed. Julien’s humility and work ethics inspires Julianie. Coincidentally, they have the same nick name of ‘Juju’. This makes the dream real, visible and tangible for Julianie.
Her love for God. Watching her day after day practice hard to ran at varsity track meets with athletes 1-5 years older than her and still dedicate hours to her academics. Her days were long, busy and challenging but she stayed on top of every task executing them with integrity, passion and excellence with 100% average throughout the year. Her teachers admire her character, leadership and impact on all students. She is a beacon of light & hope to everyone that comes in contact with her!
