Softball has taught Julianna important life skills. It helped her develop mental toughness and humility in addition to learning from her mistakes. Softball has boosted her confidence on the field but she is also stronger and resilient in her everyday life.
Julianna has been blessed to have exceptional coaches who have not only taught her the game but have also believed in her potential. Their faith in her has been important in her growth as a player and an individual.
One of the proudest moments in my daughter's journey was when she made her first hit in 8u softball. She was learning and trying to build confidence and when she connected with the ball and made it safely to the bag, she was extremely excited. At that moment, she knew she could hit and the ball like all the other girls on her team.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
