When I am putting my baseball cleats I always remind myself to never give up and give 100 percent. When I am in the dugout I always pray before the game. Baseball is a challenging sport & a life style. It humbles me & most days lights me up physically, mentally, and emotionally. But that what’s keeps me coming back into the baseball field. Learning different technique each season as I move up into a different division. Having a great teammates, some of them already became family.
His grandpa is one of his biggest inspirations on becoming a baseball player. Coming from a second generation Mexican American. Along with Coach Paul he’s been there since day one. He’s been coaching him and training him to become a better player. And always reminded him to never give up on his dreams, no matter how many people try to bring him down.
Moving onto the next season, knowing that I have already accomplished the following one. I am able to continue developing my skills. Seeing Justin catching those balls & hitting them and doing his little dancing around the plate. Knowing that he’s loving the game. The baseball field has become his second home with love and respect.
