My Grandson Justin MacPherson is Youth Athelete of the Year because I've never seen a child that has more Heart for the Game than he does.

Justin absolutely Loves the game, the commoderie, the competition, the teammates and the sportsmanship that comes with it. He practices on the daily, including in inclement weather. He begs to be able to just play ball over everything. He will come home after a full school day and shag hundreds of balls just for fun. Every family event he asks everyone to throw, toss, play baseball with him. He has quite the talent for a young boy. He might be small in stature, but his talent is Mighty!
His Parents, Grandparents, family members, his coaches, teachers and teammates all play a huge part in inspiring him to play hard but also have fun and enjoy the game ,on & off the field. He also is a huge Yankee Fan & he loves Aaron Judge. He watches every game he can and has also attended a few live games.
His last game in the Eastern New York Cal Ripkin 2025 State Championship, when he pitched in the final innings and made the final out to clinch the Championship! Hes always my all-star no matter the outcome. He always trys his best and works hard at trying to get better all of the time! He is a truly Amazing Athelete and deserves the honor of being chosen.
